Where are the products sourced from?

There are national and international brands along with vendors from across the country who are associated with Talash.com and all products are sourced from them. These are either wholesalers, retailers or the manufacturers of products listed on the portal. Talash.com, from time to time, renews its contract with vendors / brands and adds new vendors / brands to offer more choices to the customers.


How to register with Talash.com?

You have to click on ‘Log in or Register’ tab on the top left of your window. On doing so, you will come across a form where you need to provide your email address, first name, last name and desired password to move ahead with the registration process.


Is registration mandatory?

You can browse through the website without being registered. You would, however, need registration to make the purchase. This would be helpful to you as it will store your billing and shipping address in the portal’s database which will help you check out smoothly during your future transactions with Talash.com.


How do I change my personal details?

Once you have logged into your profile, you can click on ‘Edit Profile’. In the new window, you can verify and alter your personal details like address, phone number, email id and others.


What is an address book?

Address Book allows you to easily select the shipping addresses from the various addresses you maintain and update in your address book. You can also select separate shipping addresses for different items in your shopping cart.


How do I place an order on Talash.com?

On landing on the portal, you will come across a large number of products. You can click on the product that you like (either directly from the front page or by visiting respective categories). If you want to purchase the product, you can click on the option ‘Add to Cart’. A new window will appear which will allow you to either ‘Continue Shopping’ or ‘Proceed to Pay’. If you proceed for payment, you shall be guided for the payment procedure and the order shall be placed. In case you wish to continue shopping, you can anytime go back to your order/s by clicking on the ‘Shopping Cart’ tab on the top of your window.


What payment options are available?

All major Indian and International credit cards and Debit cards are accepted to make the payment for your purchases. You can also use net banking for the same. Also, you can use such payment mediums as paypal, cheque, demand draft (DD), cash deposit in company’s bank account and mobile payment.


How safe are my transactions on Talash.com?

Can I send personalized message with the gift?

Yes. You can mention your personalized message with the order. If you are sending items to multiple people, you can also mention different messages for different recipients.


How do I know if my order is processed?

Once the order has been paid for, you will receive an Order Receipt on your email id. If you don’t find the Order Receipt after your order is placed, check your spam box for the same.


How do I complete my incomplete order?

Visit the ‘My Account’ section on Talash.com, log in with your account details and click on ‘Order History’. There you will find the ‘Proceed to Pay’ option for your pending orders. Click on the same and you shall be guided through the rest of the procedure.


What is the delivery time for my orders at Talash.com?

You shall receive a tentative delivery date at the time of placing each order. This could be the same day or any other lead time, as suggested by the vendor.


Are the products always delivered on time?

Given that we work with responsible vendors, most of the deliveries are made on time. Our customer support team is also in continuous touch with the vendors to ensure that the delivery status is on track. There could, however, be a delay due to unavoidable reasons. In that case, the product might be delivered after the due date. However, our customer care team is always in touch with the vendors to know the progress of the delivery and if there is any chance of delay the customers are updated about the same.


How do I know the status of my order’s dispatch and / or delivery?

As soon as the order has been dispatched by our vendor, you will receive a tracking number of your order through which you can track your shipment. Whenever the product has been delivered, you will receive a confirmation email.


What happens if the recipient’s address is incorrect or the recipient no longer stays there?

In this case, the product is returned to the merchant. In case the item is perishable, it shall not be reshipped and the order shall be considered as delivered. If the item is non-perishable, on the other hand, then you can get the product resent to the correct address by contacting the Customer Support Team. You will always receive an email from us in such cases. Moreover, no refunds are provided for these kind of orders.


What happens if the order is returned due to house locked?

In this case, you can contact the courier company with reference to your airway bill and ask them to attempt delivery again.
If the product has returned to the merchant’s office, you will be required to get in touch with our Customer Support Team and request for a re dispatch of the product. Redelivery charges shall be applied in cases when the vendors request for the same. Such re shipping of the product shall not be possible in case it is a perishable item. However, for flowers and cakes you can contact the local vendor and pick up the product from the store.


How are refunds issued?

In case the order has been cancelled by you (within stipulated time) or by Talash.com, your refund shall be issued by the Customer Support Team. You can reach it at support@talash.com.
On the Order Tracking Page, you can check the status of the refund. There are various statuses that appear on the page. Following is the description of each one of them: ‘Cancel’ Status: This means that your order has been cancelled. ‘Refund in Queue’ Status: This means that your refund amount is still in queue. ‘Refunded’ Status: This means that the refund has been issued and shall reflect on your card / bank statement in 10 days.
