The GoFlex? ultra-portable drive drive only is the core of the GoFlex Storage System and connects to any other GoFlex Storage System cable or device for a completely customizable and upgradeable experience. To use your drive-only GoFlex on your PC or Mac? computer, add a GoFlex USB 2.0, USB 3.0, FireWire? 800 or eSATA interface cable. The drive is preloaded with easy backup and file encryption software and when paired with a cable, acts as a normal external hard drive. But, it does more. To bring your content beyond the computer, use the drive in combination with the GoFlex TV HD media player or GoFlex Net media sharing device.
